Raymond Lee Ford, 78, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was born near Stilwell, Oklahoma on August 14, 1938 to Lucy and Wilson Ford.

Raymond attended Cave Springs schools and was Salutatorian of his class. He went on and furthered his studies at Draughon’s Business School. Upon completion of his studies, Raymond became Store Manager of the General Tire and Service Store in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Raymond enjoyed gardening, fishing and golfing with his grandson.

Raymond is survived by his son, Steve and wife Cheryl of Tahlequah; grandson, Riley Ford of Tahlequah; brothers, Wayne and Earlene Ford of Sallisaw, Burl and Rhonda Ford of Westville; sisters, Callie Catcher of Park Hill and Geneva and Alfred Inman of Stilwell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne; and parents.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Raymond Ford will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Greenhill Cemetery Pavilion with Mr. James Taylor officiating.
