Numerous cousins and many wonderful friends.
He attended Warner high school and received many awards for his athletic ability on the field and on the court. He played tennis on a scholarship for Connors. After graduating he received a tennis scholarship at Arkansas Tech. He worked for various county Headstarts. He had a son Braden Johnson that was his world. In December 2006, he started as a cadet at Jess Dunn Correctional Center. He quickly made rank of corporal and was sent to CLEET where he became a sworn in Peace Officer. After CLEET, he was promoted to Sergeant, and held that position for ten years. As his strength began to wane, he applied for and received case manager. He loved every bit of the work. He said, "I may never see the difference I make, but that's not going to stop me from trying." He touched many lives. We are overwhelmed with the calls, texts, post, and with each one we are reminded of how blessed we are for knowing him as a son, father, husband, brother, and friend. RIP Kevin Scott Johnson, your watch has ended.
