Obituary for Minnie B George (Anderson)

Minnie B. (Anderson) George was born to Thomas L. Anderson and Nancy (Childers) Anderson March 1, 1920 in Wagoner County, Oklahoma, where she grew up and attended school. She was the 5th of 9 girls and 2 boys in the family of 11. They were farmers so everyone learned to work. Minnie was baptized in the Baptist Church and loved the Lord dearly.
The family loved to Muskogee County, Oklahoma and here she met and married her husband, Mitchell George. They visited California and liked it so well that they made it their home. In 1977, her husband died in a boating accident while fishing and she continued to live there near her widowed sister and family, in Orange, California, until her death.

Minnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 8 sisters; 2 brothers; and many nieces and nephews.
